Birch Bark Basketry

Participate in Birch Bark Basketry with Elliot Cluba. We'll craft a small birch bark basket using a straight weave, approximately 4 in x 4 in x 4 in. The course is designed to last a full day, though some attendees might complete their baskets earlier. We'll be using whole, raw birch bark, which requires cutting and preparation for weaving. Expect a social yet focused day as we explore this ancient craft passed down by the land's original inhabitants. Remember to bring your own lunch, snacks, and beverages. This is an MCA Hosted Event
